Privacy policy

How PosFlex Growth collects, uses, stores and protects your personal information, and the choices you have. No cookies, no stored IP addresses.

Last updated: 31 October 2026

The short version

  • We collect only what you give us, like your name, email and phone, plus simple visit counts with no cookies and no stored IP addresses.
  • We use it to reply, send what you asked for, and email you about our services. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
  • We never sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers.
  • Only the PosFlex team can see your details. They travel over HTTPS and are kept with established providers under their security commitments.
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time.

1. Who we are

PosFlex Growth (“PosFlex”, “we”, “us”) is a growth marketing business based in New Zealand, working with businesses in New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States and Japan. This policy covers posflexgrowth.com and the forms, free tools, chat and booking on it.

We're responsible for the personal information collected through this site, and we handle it in line with New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020.

Questions at any time: hello@posflexgrowth.com or +64 29 045 74452.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us:

  • Contact form: your name, email address and message.
  • Free audit form: your name, email, city or area and what you want to improve, plus your business name, phone and website if you add them, and the figures from the calculator you used.
  • Free SEO report: the website address you ask us to check. If you ask for the full report by email, your name and email, and your phone and business name if you add them.
  • Link preview checker: the page address you enter. We fetch that address to read its public tags and show you the result; nothing is stored.
  • Bookings: the details you enter on our Google Calendar booking page, such as your name, email and chosen time.
  • Ask PosFlex chat: the questions you type.
  • Anything you send us directly by email, phone or text.

Information collected automatically when you visit:

  • The page you viewed and when, the domain of the site that sent you, your approximate location (country, region and city), and your device and browser type.
  • An anonymous visitor ID that changes every day, used only to count unique visitors.
  • Clicks on a few marked buttons (such as call, book and free audit), grouped by a random ID that lives only in that browser tab and is forgotten when the tab closes.

We don't use cookies for analytics or advertising, we don't store your IP address, and there are no advertising trackers on this site. Bots are filtered out of our visit counts.

We don't ask for sensitive information, such as health or financial details, so please don't send it through our forms or chat.

3. How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and give you what you asked for: your audit, growth plan, SEO report or booking.
  • To prepare proposals and, if you become a client, to deliver and support our services.
  • To email you, and call or text you if you gave us a number, about your enquiry and our services (see the next section).
  • To answer your questions in the Ask PosFlex chat.
  • To see which pages and tools help people, so we can improve the site.
  • To keep the site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and meet our legal obligations.

We don't build advertising profiles about you, and we don't use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Emails and messages from us

When you send a form, ask for a report or audit, or book a call, you agree that PosFlex Growth may email you at any time about your enquiry, your report and our services. If you gave us a phone number, we may also call or text you about them. This includes:

  • replies and follow-ups about what you asked for
  • your report, audit or growth plan, and questions about it
  • occasional marketing emails with growth tips, news, offers and updates about our services

Every marketing email and text we send says it's from PosFlex Growth and tells you how to opt out. New Zealand's Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 requires this, as do similar laws where our clients are, such as Australia's Spam Act 2003, the UK's PECR and the US CAN-SPAM Act, and we follow them.

5. How to stop emails

You can stop marketing emails whenever you like. Any of these works:

  • Reply to any of our emails with the word “unsubscribe”.
  • Use the unsubscribe link or instructions in the email.
  • Email hello@posflexgrowth.com and ask us to stop.

We'll stop promptly, and always within 5 working days. If we've texted you, reply to the text asking us to stop, or email us.

Unsubscribing stops marketing. You'll still get messages you need about something you've asked us to do, such as replies to your questions or invoices for paid work. It also doesn't delete your details on its own; to have them deleted as well, just ask (see “Your rights and choices”).

6. The Ask PosFlex chat

The chat is answered by an AI model. When you send a message, the recent conversation is sent to OpenRouter, an AI service provider, which passes it to an AI model to write the reply. We don't save chat conversations: our server records only technical details, such as how many messages were sent.

OpenRouter and the model provider process your messages under their own terms and privacy policies. Please don't type personal or sensitive details into the chat. To reach our team, use the contact form or book a call instead.

7. Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your personal information. We don't share it with advertisers or data brokers, and we never let anyone else use it for their own marketing.

We only share it with the service providers who help us run the site and our business, and only what they need to do that job:

  • Vercel, which hosts the website.
  • Cloudflare, which hosts our private CRM, where enquiries are stored, and our visit statistics.
  • Google, which runs our email (Gmail) and booking calendar (Google Calendar).
  • OpenRouter and the AI model it uses, which answer messages in the Ask PosFlex chat.

These providers handle data under their own security and privacy commitments.

We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect someone's safety or our legal rights, or with professional advisers, such as our accountant or lawyer, who must keep it confidential. If PosFlex Growth were ever sold or merged, your information could pass to the new owner, who would have to keep protecting it in line with this policy.

8. Where your information is kept

Our providers run global services, so your information may be stored or processed outside New Zealand, including in the United States. We choose established providers and rely on their security and privacy commitments to protect it wherever it's held.

9. How we protect your information

  • Encrypted in transit: the site and every form use HTTPS.
  • Restricted access: only the PosFlex team can see enquiries, through a password-protected admin area.
  • Spam and abuse protection: forms and tools are rate limited and screened for bots.
  • Less data to lose: no tracking cookies, no stored IP addresses, and no payment card details taken on this site.

No system connected to the internet can be made perfectly secure, so we won't pretend otherwise. What we promise is to take reasonable care, to fix problems quickly, and to be open with you if something goes wrong.

If a privacy breach happens that has caused, or is likely to cause, serious harm, we'll notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner as soon as practicable, as the Privacy Act 2020 requires.

10. How long we keep it

  • Visit and click records: deleted after 13 months.
  • Enquiries, audit and report requests, and bookings: kept while we need them to follow up or work with you, then deleted. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
  • Client records: kept for the engagement and for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.
  • Chat conversations: not stored by us.

11. Your rights and choices

You can ask us to:

  • show you the personal information we hold about you
  • correct it if it's wrong
  • delete it
  • stop sending you marketing

Email hello@posflexgrowth.com or use the contact form. We may need to check it's really you before acting. We'll respond within a reasonable time, and within 20 working days for requests to see or correct your information, as the Privacy Act requires. We won't charge you for asking. If we can't do something, for example because the law says we must keep a record, we'll explain why.

12. Visitors outside New Zealand

If you're in the United Kingdom or the European Union, the UK GDPR or EU GDPR give you extra rights: to access, correct, delete or move your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to object to direct marketing at any time, which we'll always respect. We rely on taking the steps you ask for (like replying or sending your report), our legitimate interest in running our business and telling businesses about similar services, and your consent where the law requires it, which you can withdraw at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, such as the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Wherever you are, we'll handle your information in line with this policy and any privacy laws that apply to you.

13. Children

This site and our services are for businesses and aren't aimed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us their details, contact us and we'll delete them.

14. Other websites and services

The site links to, and embeds, services run by others, such as our Google Calendar booking page. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our site or the law changes. We'll update the date at the top, and if a change is significant we'll make it clear on the site.

16. Contact and complaints

For anything about your privacy, email hello@posflexgrowth.com or call +64 29 045 74452. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
