There’s a moment every business owner knows—the one where the numbers finally move, the tables are full, the team is sharp, the ads are working, and for the first time in a long time, you can breathe again. I know that moment because I fought for it. I’m Sajal Kumar, founder of Posflex Growth.
But my story didn’t start there. It started in the army, where I learned that pressure reveals everything. Weak systems break. Poor decisions get expensive. Discipline is not about hype; it’s about doing what needs to be done when nobody is watching. That mindset stayed with me long after I left.
At 21, I opened two Indian restaurants in Christchurch . I was ambitious, hungry, and convinced that work ethic alone would carry me through. It didn’t. I ran into the reality every operator eventually faces—cash flow pressure, operational mistakes, constant firefighting, and the kind of stress that follows you home. One business survived. One didn’t. I sold one after a hard stretch that taught me more than success ever could.
That season changed me. I stopped chasing activity and started focusing on what actually drives growth: tighter operations, better customer flow, stronger systems, and marketing that produces real revenue. I began using Google and Meta ads with intent—not as random boosts, but as part of a bigger business engine. That pivot changed everything. By 24, I am running three successful restaurants, and I understood exactly what it takes to go from stuck to scalable.
Around that time, I met Ankit. He first came into my contact for help with ads, but what started as support quickly turned into alignment. We both saw the same thing: too many good business owners were working insanely hard, burning money, and still feeling stuck because no one had helped them connect operations with growth.
